Dubai launches “Click & Travel” mobile airport service

Dubai has launched Click & Travel, a mobile service designed to help passengers complete entry and departure procedures at Dubai airports during peak travel periods and emergency situations.

Developed by the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai), the service brings immigration procedures directly to passengers rather than requiring them to wait at traditional airport counters. The initiative is intended to make airport processes faster and more flexible when passenger volumes are particularly high.

The service has already completed approximately 31,373 transactions during its pilot phase, which ran from May through 31 August 2026. By introducing a mobile format for travel procedures, Dubai continues to invest in technology-driven services that aim to improve the passenger journey and support the city’s position as a global aviation hub.
