Baithak ft. Akanksha Grover invites Dubai audiences to an intimate evening of soulful Bollywood melodies, Sufi music and ghazals at Mövenpick Grand Al Bustan Dubai. Curated by Showoff Entertainment as part of their Baithak series, the event recreates a traditional mehfil experience where music, poetry and storytelling come together in a warm, homely setting.
Fronted by vocalist Akanksha Grover, whose musical journey began at the age of seven inspired by her mother’s bhajans, the performance focuses on simplicity, emotion and meaningful lyrics delivered with a live band. Guests can expect a blend of nostalgic favourites, soulful Bollywood numbers and carefully selected tributes that encourage the audience to sing along, reflect or simply lose themselves in the music.
The evening features baithak‑style floor seating alongside conventional chairs, allowing each guest to choose their preferred way to experience the show. Open to all ages, the event runs from 21:00 to 23:00, with gates opening at 19:00, and offers food and beverages for purchase at the venue. Tickets start from around 150–160 AED, with limited capacity to preserve the intimate, close‑up atmosphere.
